Not Much New!

Ok, well, not too much has really happened since transfers.  We had ZTM (zone training meeting)...so fun!  Our zone is so awesome!  We have way cool zone leaders, and the missionaries here are just the best!  I got to see Merrill Choro (Elder Merrill) and Kuchar Shimai (Sister Kuchar).  They are both doing so awesome!  Merrill Choro and Wells Shimai are both training!  And so is Budgie Choro!  And now because of a weird transfer (which I will explain sometime later) Willis Choro is in my district and also training!  WOW!!!  (For those of you who don't remember all those names from the MTC...they were all in her district at the Mission Training Center)  So they are the coolest ever!  I love them, and they will all do such an awesome job!

Zone Training Meeting was way good.  I learned so much...as always!  We talked about how to relate to people and break down the walls that they might have.  We also got some new standards for the mission.  We found out that, at the beginning of next month, Elder Aoyagi of the Seventy is touring the mission so we will get to learn from him too!!!

Kaicho (President Gustafson) dropped by ZTM and we got to talk to him for a little bit.  He's so awesome!  I just love him to death!

We found a new investigator this week!!! We talked to her and she was so interested!  We got her phone number and made another appointment with her!  But then she didn't show up...(We called her, but she didn't answer.)  I was SO SAD!  BUT...we are not going to give up on her!!!!

We also visited some of the less active members and some of the other ward members.

We had a lesson with Kitigawa san last night again.  It went ok.  He won't pray.  He just refuses.  We've taught him about prayer, the importance of prayer, borne our testimonies, shared scriptures, had members share their testimonies a bunch of times, but he just won't.  He still has a baptismal date, but we're probably going to have to move it back because he hasn't been praying or coming to church.  He will get there eventually, but it's looking like it may take a while!

Baba san is still sick.  She can't come to church or meet with us still, but I have asked some of the members to write a little note to her...share a scripture, or something like that...and so they did.  They also gave me a little crocheted thing to give her from the Relief Society sisters.  So we're going to take it to her this week and hope it cheers her up a little.

Anyways, things are good!  I love being a missionary!  This church is true!  I know it is!

Love you all!
At a Buddhist site...trying the water from a bamboo faucet!

The water is good!
